A Dallas-based entertainment haven filed a new building permit for its soon-to-be Memphis location.

Main Event Entertainment, a bowling center complete with laser tag, billiards, dining options and more, will open at 7219 Appling Farms Parkway in late 2015.

The Memphis venue will also have a ropes course, a permit reveals. A building permit valued at $180,000 was submitted July 30 for what was described as “Main Event ropes course drawing structural review.” The contractor on the permit was listed as Chris Woods Construction Co. Inc.

A spokesperson with SPM Communications Inc., who handles the public relations for Main Event, provided a statement on what people can expect at the facility.

“Main Event offers a unique ‘Eat. Bowl. Play.’ experience, with state-of-the-art bowling lanes, a multilevel laser tag arena, billiards and a challenging gravity ropes course suspended over a games gallery. Dining options feature a chef-inspired menu, specialty pizzas, a full bar serving innovative cocktails, wines, craft and local beers and catering options for corporate and group events.”

There are Main Events in Texas, Arizona, Georgia, Illinois and Oklahoma. The buildings average 48,000 to 75,000 square feet. The company is a subsidiary of Ardent Leisure Group (ASX: AAD) in Australia.
