FedEx Express Selects Chris Woods Construction as General Contractor for Design/Build LEED Certified Project
FedEx Express has selected Chris Woods Construction to be their general contractor for a design/build LEED certified project at their international hub in Memphis. The project will involve renovations to an existing 30,000SF building on the former Tennessee Air National Guard base and will be used for handling the companies overgoods freight operation. Valued at just over $3M, the project is slated to start quickly, within the next thirty days and have a 7 month duration. Chris Woods Construction is employing the services of A2H, Inc., a Memphis based architectural/engineering firm for the professional design services and Viridian for LEED consulting.
