Goldstrike Casino Renovations and Upgrades
Chris Woods Construction was selected by MGM to play a major role in the creation of the 6,000 square foot new Sportsbook betting venue at the Goldstrike casino in Tunica, MS. This $4.2 million dollar fast tracked project contained high end finishes, state of the art video walls, a Top Golf simulator gaming system, full bar, multiple VIP seating areas, and dining facilities. As a result of tremendous teamwork, effort, and communication with Chris Woods Construction, MGM, design consultants, and several exceptional subcontractors; the venue was delivered as promised. MGM was able to open the facility on time in early July of 2019.
So proud of all the work you did and even more the teamwork displayed on every level of the project. This is a great example of a project that starts right/well, ends right/well. The consistent open and candid conversations as stakeholders of many different sorts..led to this success. Chalk this up as a great example of how a project should be done. So glad to end my MGM employment career with all of you and this project in my life.
