The new 22,000 square foot, $3 million dollar, addition to First Assembly Christian School and Church includes new classrooms, a new state of the art Youth and Children’s activities rooms complete with theatrical lighting and stages as well as an expanded “company” store for the school and church. The Children’s room is a new interactive space with games, an activity center and full size stage including theatrical lighting. The Youth room has a new coffee bar, gathering space, and also includes a full size stage including theatrical lighting. The new building services the Church’s and school needs but is also designed and built for expansion in the future as their need for additional space increases. The second floor is currently a shell space, but when finished out will provide an additional 7k square feet of space.
Chris Woods Construction recently completed our new building addition and I highly recommend them as a general contractor. Their project manager and site superintendent kept the project moving seamlessly. Chris Woods Construction selected and controlled high level sub-contractors, which were reflected in the caliber and quality of workmanship employed on the project.
